If I believed in God, I suspect the sight of the sun attempting to break through the fog over Lindisfarne in Northumberland might suggest something spiritual. I painted it out of curiosity, as a painting of minimalist actions and colours. It didn’t speak to me in a spiritual way, perhaps it needed a home where they have faith in God, I gifted it to two friends of mine who have such a faith.
