Drawn to the Light Exhibition

Drawn to the light is a collection of paintings created on Holy Island during the winter months of 2025, or in my studio in North Shields using inspiration gained during my time on the island.

I don’t use visual reference materials when I paint, I rely on a combination of what I felt in that place with what I am recall about my visit. The paintings become conversations in colour between myself and the canvas.
