Early Island Morning series

This is a series of paintings I made during my stay in February 2025 on Lindisfarne in Northumberland. There is something very special about the tidal island I love. I have made many paintings trying to capture various elements of it. These are my version of the winter stillness broken by early morning sunlight on the wet shore.
