Koi Pond
During the first lockdown in 2020 I made a small 15 x 10 cm painting of a Koi pond in oil pastel. I really wanted to make something bigger but as I was trapped at home with no large canvasses or panels I had to make do with small. However, during the start of 2025 I was looking through old diaries for something quite different, but found my disappointed comment about the Koi painting of small stature. As luck would have it I was in my studio when I made the discovery so I decided to remedy the issue and go large.
What was I looking for in my diary? Who knows, maybe I’ll remember and find that in a few years time too.
